The outdoor installation Square platform # 3 from 1974, installed at Cragsmoor on top of Sams Pike, was destroyed in 1987 and is now reconstructed for the Gartenregion Exhibition at the Kaliberg close to Hannover. The sketch of the installation was realised by George Cup in 2006 during the preparation of the retrospectives in the both birthplaces of Cup and Elliott, Wolfsburg and Nordhorn.

George Cup made a couple of sketches for the installation before he decided to reconstruct the Square platform # 3 from 1974. The platform is placed as an minimal-art installation in the field between sculpture and architecture, surrounded by nature on the top of a 90 meter hill. The square platform is 60 inches high and about 360 x 240 inches in square. A path of 24 inches wide is leading in the square to the middle were a 44 inch square is the endpoint. From this point there is no sight of the hill possible. The complete installation was made of wood and painted black.
